As a general contractor, we already start the sales process behind the eight ball because of all the shady practices that go on in our industry. One thing I am sure of is that we have to be able to effectively differentiate ourselves from our competition, but that’s hard to do when you’re just taking measurements and sending bids. You can’t just tell homeowners that you’re the best, or honest, or anything else, because everyone else says the same thing.
