Don’t focus on one campaign

Be aware of volunteer oportunities.

Those opportunities that pop up while you’re focused on one campaign.

It seems a tomato seed got mixed in with the peppers, and I think this may in fact be the sturdiest looking tomato in the whole garden…

On the other side of the pepper bed some broccoli greens are coming up from seeds dropped at the end of last season.

The brocolli will never make this time of year, and will eventually shade out my ghost pepper, so I’ll get a bowl full of greens and get them out of there.

But the tomato can be trained to grow off to the side, away from the peppers, so we’ll see.

Just because you’re focused on one campaign other opportunities may germinate.

Often times, these are weeds that will choke out the main focus.

But sometimes, they can bring value.

And if you’ve got the resources to nurture them without taking away from the original focus, they may just be worthwhile.
