the Founder

Your business is important. It allows you to be independent and self-reliant, to care for yourself and your family. But even more so, your business adds value to others – your customers, vendors, employees, and the community as a whole – allowing them to care for themselves and their families as well.

While we may not be aware of it, while we can’t always see it happening, and while it may only affect the small area of the planet around us, our businesses are part of making the world a better place.

Being raised on a farm, I love watching things grow. Trained as a scientist, I learned to methodically find the underlying principles in a situation and apply them to new circumstances. As a teacher, my biggest reward was watching those flashes of realization – the “aha moments” – on the faces of my students, and seeing them put their new-found insights to good use. These are the things that still drive me today.

At FecundFig, we help companies to grow. But not to grow simply for growth’s sake. Strategic growth – growth that is sustainable and purposeful. Growth that builds bigger companies capable of solving bigger problems and adding more value to the marketplace.

Growth is driven by revenue – every sale transacted is value being created. However, if the cost of sales is not managed, profitability will suffer and growth will stall. It’s not enough to constantly be “hunting” and “fishing” for clients. Those are survival strategies.

Building something great requires a systematic, predictable approach to producing revenue. It requires cultivation.

Will Dukes helps grow businesses

A farmer by birth, scientist by training, and teacher by trade, for the last 15 years, Will has been helping small business owners strategically generate more revenue, acquire new clients, and expand their companies with his firm, Fecund Fig (formerly, SalesPartners Florida).

He does that by making sure they’re cultivating quality leads, and that they have the right sales process in place to convert them into clients.

Will’s clients have been able to save thousands of dollars on ineffective marketing costs, while increasing their conversions, revenue, and profitability. Will’s clients often see between a 25-80% increase in sales conversion and revenue.

A 7th-generation Floridian from the rural community where his family settled in 1853 (and appropriately named: Dukes), Will graduated Suma cum laude from the University of Florida, where he later finished his first Masters degree in Agricultural Education and Communication.

Shannon Dukes transforms projects into actionable success

Growing up as a “military brat,” Shannon experienced life in Florida, Japan, and Germany. Amidst the chaos of constant relocations, she sought stability and structure, which became foundational to her professional journey.

Shannon studied Animal Science at the University of Florida, where she planned to attend vet school. However, her passion for health and wellness shifted her trajectory toward dietetics, earning her master’s degree in Dietetics and Nutrition from Florida International University. For eight years, she worked as a clinical dietitian at South Miami Hospital before transitioning into medical sales, a move that transformed her career outlook.

One of Shannon’s proudest career milestones was shifting her sales strategy during the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite hospitals being closed to non-employees, she exceeded her goals, earning the President’s Club Award for the highest sales in the nation.

He then went to Miami to start a high-tech career education program within the Miami-Dade County Public School System, which saw 2000% percent growth under his leadership, and went on to become a Regional Teacher of the year.

After leaving the school system and starting SalesPartners, Will built his business through networking in local business organizations. He has served as the small business committee chairman for the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce, the Director of Training for BNI Miami-Dade, and the Chairman of Leadership Miami through the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, among other roles.

Will has presented to audiences of 10,000+ and trained on the topics of sales, leadership, communication, and networking on numerous local, state, and national levels. He has developed and facilitated training for executives from South Florida’s billion-dollar companies. He went on to obtain a Global MBA degree from ADEN International Business School.

Will is also active in the community as a past Chairman of Touching Miami with Love, a board member of his daughter’s PTSA, a volunteer in his son’s Scout Troop, a volunteer with the Jobs Partnership of Florida, and an active member of his church.

He now splits time between his offices in Coral Gables and Orlando, where he lives with his lovely wife, Shannon, and their two beautiful children, Eli and Lily.

Frustrated by limited advancement opportunities and unacknowledged contributions in her previous role, Shannon decided to join forces with her husband, Will. They envisioned a business that truly represented their values and expertise, leading to the creation of FecundFig.

As the Director of Operations at FecundFig, Shannon excels in organization, time management, and relationship building. She breaks down complex projects into actionable steps, ensures timely delivery, and fosters trust and credibility with clients. Unlike other agencies, FecundFig focuses on the alignment of sales, marketing, and branding, empowering clients to eventually operate independently.

Shannon finds immense satisfaction in conducting client testimonial interviews, and hearing firsthand how their clients’ services have impacted lives. Her motivation comes from a commitment to continuous learning, ensuring that FecundFig stays ahead of evolving sales and marketing strategies.

Shannon envisions FecundFig as a transformative force in the industry, making clients feel like part of a team rather than mere customers. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys motherhood, reading, yoga, and volunteering at her church. A fun fact about Shannon is that her grandmother was Japanese, a detail that often surprises people.

Overcoming the challenge of transitioning from clinical dietetics to running a business has taught Shannon resilience and adaptability. Her personal experiences with fear and frustration have deepened her empathy, enabling her to guide clients through their own business journeys with compassion and insight.
